Associate Attorney

Rostad Law, LLC handles divorces, custody modifications, guardianship issues, adoptions and grandparent visitation rights.

Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities:

• A license to practice law in Wyoming. A license to also practice law in Colorado is a plus;
• Have an exceptional work-ethic with an ability to multi-task, self-prioritize tasks and complete assigned tasks but able and willing to transition to other more pressing tasks that may arise, help other attorneys and staff complete tasks when needed and meet daily and weekly billable hour requirements;
• Draft time-sensitive documents within the first few weeks of employment including pleadings, motions, orders, summonses, and confidential financial affidavits;
• Provide a consistently professional work product to Court staff, clients and other law firms, free of spelling and grammatical errors that satisfies firm rules for written documents and communication, including justification, spacing, margins and fonts type and sizes;
• Motivated to problem solve issues for clients, colleagues and oneself;
• Possess a team-player mindset by meeting office and Court filing deadlines for one’s assigned tasks and other staff members’ deadlines while still helping to address drop in clients’ needs and phone calls throughout the day and week; and
• A long-term commitment to Laramie;
